It’s all about the network!
20 October 2017 - Geneva

They say that everybody you will ever meet knows something you don’t! But how much do you actually know about the people who are walking around in the Impact Hub space? Well good news! There is an accessible and easy solution to broaden your network and it’s called: “The Hubbers Connexion.”

Every two months the Impact Hub is hosting a networking event exclusively for members. A good opportunity to learn more about other projects, get inspired by members and make valuable connections with others! On October the 16th Impact Hub Geneva’s Community Catalyst Krista Kaufmann hosted the latest edition.

What to expect during an evening like this?

A quick summary for all those people who were busy or accidentally forgot about it (next edition will be hosted in December!) The kick-off was a small introduction round, where projects, names and activities were mentioned. After this, a brief Hub update followed. Since so much is going on attending a Hubbers Connexion event will give you a good overview of what has happened and what will happen in the long-term concerning programs and events.

For example did you know that Pulse, a local and new start-up incubation program was launched? All finalists have been chosen during the Pulse Pitch Fest last week (three by a jury, one by the audience) and the incubation period has now started. For entrepreneurs who are interested in contributing to Pulse by sharing skills or knowledge, keep an eye on the newsletter and the Pulse Website to see what the possibilities are. And what about the newest Hub location? Impact Hub Lausanne will host it’s official opening end of October, a special day for Suisse Romande and for the Hub community so mark this event in your agenda! Of course more is happening, for a weekly update you can always read the weekly updates in the newsletter!

Only one way to find out!

Then final and last part of the evening was more interactive, and by this I don’t mean drinks and food. This time it had something to do with incomplete sentences and brain games. A good way to become more creative and to get to know other participants in an slightly different way. What will it be next time? There is only way to find out! Go and see for yourself!

And remember: If you’re not networking, you’re not working 😉
