Showcase Solutions Covid19 to International Humanitarian Geneva
Join us in the first Covid-solutions Showcase for International Humanitarian Geneva!
The Swiss-wide online #VersusVirus Hackathon recently took place, involving over 5’000 online participants (hackers, mentors, moderators, including the President of the Swiss Parliament, Isabelle Moret) that collaborated during 48 hours to develop 270 projects that aim at supporting people, organizations and institutions that are most exposed to this crisis in Switzerland. At the same time, the LauzHack Hackathon, organized by students at the EPFL, gathered over 600 participants in an unprecedented cross-disciplinary collaboration from a range of fields spanning materials science, life science, economics and finance to develop over 107 projects in 72 hours.
Among all, we have recognized several projects that have a concrete potential to serve countries and communities abroad who are also impacted by the crisis, and/or International Organizations and NGOs that focus on supporting these communities. How can we utilize such innovation to be applied in the humanitarian work?
In this online participatory showcase, we would like to present you the most promising solutions, and hear your thoughts and reflections!
Stay tuned for more details!
