SIIA (Swiss Impact Investment Association) is organizing this event with a focus on “Mainstreaming Impact Investing in the Pension Fund Industry”. Regulatory frameworks play a vital role in facilitating the engagement of pension funds in the impact economy. However, challenges related to legal clarity often hinder mainstream adoption. In this interactive event, we will explore existing regulations in Central and West Europe, Nordics and in Africa, and discuss practical strategies for overcoming these barriers.

To ensure the practicality and realism of the recommendations put forth, we will conduct real-time online polling during the event. This will gauge the persuasiveness of the proposed actions and the urgency of their implementation. Selected policy recommendations will be incorporated into SIIA’s strategic plan, enabling us to advocate and lobby for their adoption among policy makers, regulators, and other stakeholders within the Swiss Impact Investment ecosystem and our network of European Asia and African NABIIs.
