Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is increasingly recognised as a core priority by a growing number of institutional actors. Furthermore, the covid-19 economic disruption presents a pressing need and unique opportunity for organisations to explore more resilient and sustainable models aligned with the SDGs.

Intrapreneurship refers to the application of entrepreneurial principles from within established organisations in order to lead innovative and purposeful change, and develop new working systems and outcomes.

The SDG Intrapreneurship Academy is a 6-month professional development programme for organisations across sectors evolving towards a more agile, entrepreneurial and purposeful culture.

Our vision is that organisations in Geneva leverage their full potential by using innovation to respond to societal needs, transforming their employees into intrapreneurial leaders and connecting to a wider community of changemakers that are paving the way for the new economy.

FORMAT: Blended learning via 4 full-day workshops and online engagement in-between (possibility to join fully online)

DATES: Monday, October 19th 2020 Friday, November 27th 2020 Monday, January 18th 2021 Friday, March 5th 2021 Participants will acquire an intrapreneurial mindset and learn to make collaboration the default setting in their organisation. The programme draws from methodologies such as Human-Centered Design, Theory-U, Circular Economy and Leading Beyond Authority.

💫PREREQUISITES

High-potential junior professionals; Interest in leadership and/or entrepreneurial skills and attitude; Light involvement of the line manager.

💫JOURNEY OVERVIEW

This journey develops knowledge and understanding of the mindset and capabilities necessary to drive purposeful change from within an organisation in order to address a social or environmental challenge. The modules draw from are a unique combination of entrepreneurship, innovation, collaboration and leadership. The content is grounded in practice, so participants learn by working on solving a real-life challenge of their own.

At the end of this journey, participants will have:

1. Managed their own innovation process to address an existing organisational challenge 2. Engaged stakeholders to design up to 3 prototype solutions 3. Acquired tools, methods and frameworks that enable transformative change at individual and organisational level 4. Gained increased self-awareness of your potential as a leader and become a resilient intrapreneur 5. Developed meaningful connections and cross-sector collaborations within a network of leading organisations.
