💚 BUILDING AN ECOSYSTEM COMMITTED TO INNOVATION AND PREVENTION AGAINST TOBACCO IS OUR MISSION 💚

🔎 Impact Challenge theme – “Digitalization, technologies and prevention: perspectives and challenges”.

Numerous digital solutions and tools have been developed by the Swiss Tobacco Prevention Fund in recent years: prevention campaigns via facebook, new websites, applications, new exchange platforms, etc.

But how can these tools be made accessible to everyone? How can they be promoted to smokers? Are there any digital tools that we haven’t thought of?

There are many ways of thinking about this challenge:

💻 New tools and technologies for health prevention in Switzerland

💡 Activities and ideas to better engage smokers in stopping

🤝 Proposal of new partners for better prevention

🌱 Can climate challenges, well-being and sustainable life without tobacco, be a new lever for behaviour change in cessation?

Do you have an idea to solve one of these issues? Would you like to develop it and present it to a jury of experts and members of the Tobacco Prevention Fund (TPF)? It’s a good idea!

👉 The winning team will receive a cheque for CHF 300 💰 and if they wish, they can submit their idea to the Tobacco Control Fund, which has some CHF 13.5 million each year for tobacco control.

✅ Don’t hesitate and sign up!

👫 The Impact Challenges, how does it work?

In teams of 3 or 4, for 8 hours, you develop a solution through 4 phases: analysis of the challenge, imagination of a solution, projection into the future and testing of the idea. All along the way, you will be accompanied by our facilitators, but also by specialists from different fields!

Programme:

  • 8:30-9:00 – Welcome of participants (coffee & croissants)
  • 9:00- 9:30 – Opening ceremony + icebreak
  • 9:30-9:45 – Group formation
  • 9:45-11:30 – PHASE 1: Analyse the contextual problem, generate ideas, assess their feasibility
  • 11:30-12:30 – PHASE 2: Summarise the first steps to realise the solutions
  • 12:30-13:30 – Lunch
  • 13:30-15:00 – PHASE 3: Testing ideas with potential users and experts, improving solution design
  • 15:00-15:45 – PHASE 4: Marketing the ideas and solutions, (preparation of sales arguments, communication strategy, impact measurement)
  • 16:00-17:30 – Pitch to the jury, Closing ceremony & Results
  • 17:30 – Apéro networking

❓For whom and why register to one of the Impact Challenges?

The answer is simple: everyone! Whether you are a start-up, a student, an expert, an employee or a company manager, if you are interested in the themes of prevention, digitalisation, technology or psychology, or if you are simply curious to discover the methodology of design thinking to develop an idea, then our Impact Challenges are for you! It is also an opportunity to meet committed participants and experts in different fields.

💚 About the Month Without Tobacco 💚

Financially supported by the Tobacco Prevention Fund, we are a network of partners who come together to offer a free, multi-level personalised support programme during the month of November to people who want to stop smoking.

Prior to this month of collective quitting, we want to engage citizens, organisations, associations and companies in open innovation workshops, which will allow us to find, via collective intelligence, possible solutions to the challenges faced by prevention in the health field. This is why we have created 5 Impact Challenges in different cities in Switzerland. Open to all, these events aim to bring people together around different themes (digitalisation, new technologies, psychology, communication, prevention, and much more).

PS: The Impact Challenges will take place in several cities in Switzerland on different dates. Find them all in our events section.

💡 Open innovation, what is it?

Open innovation is a model of innovation management that encourages collaboration between several actors in an ecosystem. In short, individuals, organisations and associations come together to solve problems in a collective and creative way.
