Deadline Extention for Accelerate2030
13 June 2017 - Geneva

After last year’s success, Impact Hub Geneva and the UNDP are back again this year with a global community of scaling partners, international organizations, entrepreneurial networks, the global Impact Hub network and our corporate partners, SwissRe and Pfizer, to bring Accelerate2030 to the masses.

What’s Accelerate2030?Santu A2030

Accelerate2030 is a program designed to help ventures scale their positive social and environmental impact to new markets. It includes a 9 month customized program where finalists will receive the support they need to scale across borders and integrate sustainable values to their business practices. Indeed, Accelerate2030 is vested in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and truly believes in the values of new sustainable business practices. The 10 chosen applicants will have to prove that they directly work for the achievement of these goals, and Accelerate2030 will support them in scaling their impact locally and abroad. In addition, participants will gain access to the Impact Hub global network of 80+ collaborative spaces with over 15,000 social innovators that will offer international support and receive complementary membership to their local Impact Hub participating in Accelerate2030.

Accelerate2030 was initiated last year by Impact Hub Geneva and the UNDP with 10 participating countries and the Accelerate2030 team working closely in conjunction with each participating country’s local Impact Hub and UNDP chapter.  5 finalists received a travel expense-paid trip to Geneva to participate in a 1-week scaling bootcamp featuring:

  • customized business clinics;
  • an opportunity to pitch their ventures at the Social Good Summit Geneva, an invitation-only event around the Sustainable Development Goals with government, impact investors, international organizations and corporate executives;
  • 9-month tailored support from top international organizations and corporates.

This year, participation has grown to include ventures from Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Ghana, Guatemala, Malaysia, Mali, Mexico, Myanmar, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

10 ventures will receive 9 months of individualized support from numerous Accelerate2030 partners including SwissRe, Pfizer, BCG, Dalberg, UNDP, ITC, Codethic, WIPO, Sidley, Endeva and others.

Sounds great, but how can I participate?
