Today innovation is everyone’s business. Whether you are a manager in a global corporation, an entrepreneur starting up, in a public servant role, or a teacher in an elementary school, everyone is expected to innovate. And that is why we all need to learn and understand Design Thinking. At every level in every kind of organization, Design Thinking provides the tools you need to become a creative thinker and uncover the vast opportunities that are all around us.
Impact Hub is proud to host an intensive 3-day workshop where you can learn the fundamentals of Design Thinking and agile innovation methods from highly experienced practitioner with a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach.
The focus of this workshop series is how to apply human centric design methods to your project/startup/problem at hand and integrate them into your ways of working.
The workshop is designed to inspire your way of thinking and increase your leadership skills to create a more collaborative and human centric approach for your daily work. You will be challenged to work on real cases in small, interdisciplinary teams. Prepare for both hard work and fun to take your innovation skills to the next level!
In this course, we work hands-on with the tools and methods to help you understand design thinking as a problem solving approach.

The workshop will mainly be facilitated by Harri Toivonen. Passionate, hard-working and happy developer of things, at your service! Working at CERN and the Ideasquare team as Cooperation Associate, responsible for student programs coordination and design thinking coaching. From a helicopter perspective, amplifying connections between fundamental research and human centric product & service development, to contribute in a meaningful way towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Diverse creator with over 20 years of professional experience of which 10+ years in planning and executing work environment design, product and service development projects in both private and public sectors.
