Design Thinking in Action: Course Preview & Info Session
Design Thinking, or human-centred design, is an innovation methodology to develop pertinent user experiences, as products or services.
Impact Hub Geneva is hosting an intensive 3-day course on the fundamentals of Design Thinking and agile innovation methods with a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach.
The course focuses on learning how to apply human centric design methods to your project, startup or challenge at hand, and integrating them to your ways of working. It will take place on June 8, 15 and 22 in person at Impact Hub Geneva.
A course preview is offered online on May 19 to further inform potential participants about the course, answer any questions that may arise and clarify doubts about the content and format.
Both the 3-day course and the preview will be facilitated by Harri Toivonen, a highly experienced design thinker with over 10 years’ experience in service and product design in public, private and civil society organisations. Harri is currently a Cooperation Associate at CERN’s Ideasquare.
Agenda:
- Introduction
- Inspiration – Real cases of using Design Thinking in organisations to solve problems
- Interactive Discussion – What kind of challenges would participants like to look at
The course preview will take place on Tuesday May 19 from 17:00 to 18:00. The Zoom link is sent upon registration.
